We all thought we had played our last game of the season the previous week, but the centre at which we play in their wisdom decided to split the nine team competition into two divisions to create two lots of finals. Having finished the regular season in a fairly credible sixth we were placed in the second division finals and a semi-final meeting with the seventh place team. This was a team we had already beaten twice previously so we thought we would have their measure, and thankfully we did. Our win was thanks mainly to the efforts of Joey with a hat-trick after we conceded an early goal. The rest of the team contributed well and the match also saw the return of Julian from his honeymoon. So, we are now through the final against a team against which we have a one win, one loss record for this season. Wish us luck.
