We went into our second match of the season with both myself and Joey sporting new futsal boots hoping that this would bring about a change in fortune. Unfortunately the change of footwear didn’t bring an end to our winless streak as we went down 5-1. The score could have been a lot worse had it not been for the efforts of Art who made a number of crucial saves during his stints as goalkeeper. For the second week in a row it was our second half that let us down as we were only 2-1 down at the half time break and were matching it with our opposition. We thought we had levelled scores early on in the second half but the referee thought otherwise. Some good signs were evident but we didn’t create enough clear cut scoring opportunities to really trouble our opponents.
